Privacy Policy

Right Question, LLC ("Right Question", "we", "us") is an AI discovery and implementation consultancy, registered at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, and operated from the European Union. We are the controller of the personal information described here. This policy covers rightquestion.ai, www.rightquestion.ai and our booking calendar at cal.rightquestion.ai (together, the "Site").

Contact form. Your name, email address, company, industry and message. We use them to reply to you and to prepare for any call you request. The form sends them to our inbox by email; the Site itself keeps no copy. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering inquiries.

Booking a call. The calendar on our Talk to a Human page is our own scheduling system at cal.rightquestion.ai, run on a server in Finland. When you book, it collects your name, email address, the time you choose and your time zone, and any notes or guest email addresses you add. We use them to hold the call and send you confirmations. Bookings are also copied to our Google Calendar so we can manage our schedule. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract.

The interactive guide. The guide is an AI system, and its replies are labelled as AI in the chat. When you type a message, we send it, the earlier messages in that conversation, the on-screen question and your selections (industry, business size, priorities) to OpenRouter, which passes them to a provider running Anthropic's Claude model to write the reply. We keep no record of the conversation. OpenRouter does not store the content of your messages. The model provider does not use it for training and deletes it within 30 days, except content flagged for possible misuse. Please leave sensitive personal information out of your messages. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the question you asked.

Remembering your answers. If you allow preferences cookies, we store your guide selections in an encrypted cookie for 30 days so the Site can remember them. If you decline or later withdraw that consent, we delete it. Legal basis: your consent.

Site analytics. If you allow statistics cookies, Vercel Web Analytics counts page views: the page, the referring site, approximate location, and device and browser type. It sets no cookies and identifies visits with an anonymous value that is discarded after 24 hours. We use this only in aggregate. Legal basis: your consent.

Security and delivery. Our hosting providers and our booking server process your IP address and request details to deliver pages and to block abusive traffic (for example, rate limits on the contact form and the guide). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure.

We do not sell your personal information, and we run no advertising trackers.

We use Cookiebot to ask for your consent and to record your choice. Strictly necessary cookies, including the one that stores your consent choice, are always on. Preferences and statistics stay off until you allow them. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookies" link at the bottom of every page.

CookieConsent (strictly necessary): stores your consent choice, for up to 12 months.

Booking calendar at cal.rightquestion.ai (strictly necessary): __Secure-next-auth.callback-url and __Secure-next-auth.csrf-token protect the booking form and end when you close your browser; nextauth.message, embed-theme and timeOption.is24hClock are kept in your browser's storage so the calendar works and remembers its display settings, such as 12- or 24-hour time.

rq_personalization (preferences): remembers your guide selections, for 30 days.

We share personal information only with providers that help us run the Site, each limited to what its job needs:

Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting, security and analytics.

Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany; server in Finland): hosting for our booking calendar.

Mailjet, part of Sinch (European Union): sending contact-form messages and booking emails.

Proton AG (Switzerland): our email inbox.

OpenRouter, Inc. (United States), and the provider it uses to run Anthropic's Claude model: the guide's AI replies.

Usercentrics A/S (Denmark), maker of Cookiebot: cookie consent.

Google receives booking details because bookings are copied to our Google Calendar. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy. We also disclose information when the law requires it.

We operate from the European Union, and some of our providers are in the United States. When personal information goes to the United States, it is protected by the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in our agreement with that provider. Proton is in Switzerland, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection.

Contact-form messages and booking records: 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep what our contract and tax obligations require.

Server logs: kept briefly to run and secure the Site.

Guide conversations: we keep none (see section 2 for our AI providers).

Preferences cookie: 30 days, or until you withdraw consent.

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw any consent at any time (for cookies, use the "Cookies" link). Email hello@rightquestion.ai and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in the country where you live.

The Site is meant for business owners and is not directed to anyone under 16.

We use safeguards suited to the data we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls and collecting as little as possible. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We update this policy as the Site changes and show the revision date at the top.
